Women of Vision opened in Washington, DC in October 2013 and will travel to five cities, the first stop being in Charlotte at the Mint Museum in March 2014.  The exhibition showcases 11 female photographers and 99 photographs that cover a variety of subjects. From documenting 21st century slavery, the landscapes of New York, to the Sami reindeer herders, each photographer has captivated viewers with unique and enlightening imagery of the world.  Some photographers are expected to visit Charlotte for a panel discussion during the exhibition's run at the Mint.
