  • Tom Joyce is an artist who lives in Sante Fe, New Mexico.  He began apprenticing for a blacksmith at the age of 12 and established a blacksmithing career after that.  After only a few years he transitioned to metal arts.  In 2003, Joyce won the John D. and Catherine T. MacArthur Foundation Fellowship.
