Mint Museum Information:
At the Mint Museum, ceramic objects that are historic and created before 1930, belong in the Decorative Arts collection, which is made up of mostly ceramics. Ceramic objects that are created after 1930, are a part of the Craft and Design collection. This is a general rule to help guide research.

A website for the resource center at ASU devoted to ceramics research. On the page extensive resources are listed and relevant contact information.
Digital Library for the Decorative Arts and Material Culture
The Digital Library for the Decorative Arts and Material Culture collects and creates electronic resources for study and research of the decorative arts, with a particular focus on Early America. Included are electronic texts and facsimiles, image databases, and web resources.
Europeana
A free online database for European arts and cultural resources.
The MET- Heilbrunn Timeline of Art History: American Decorative Arts
A website featuring a collection of decorative art objects, essays, and a timeline compiled by the Metropolitan Museum of Art.
