From the private collections of Lorne Lassiter and Gary Ferraro, comes Craft Across Continents; a celebration, appreciation, and exploration of contemporary craft around the world. The exhibit will feature more than 50 objects from notable western and Japanese artists. Craft Across Continents will encourage conversations about contemporary art being made all across the globe. Presented in a domestic-like setting, the exhibit will inspire guests to reflect on how being surrounded by these objects adds value to our daily lives. This exhibit will encourage an understanding of the many ways in which the objects from makers all around the world can align and suggest a shared passion for their craft. Curated by Annie Carlano and Rebecca Elliot.
